The Bujinkan Gunn Dojo teaches traditional Japanese combat orientated martial arts for both male and female students. Classes are held in Greenhills Scout Hall, just off Limekiln Avenue on Sunday's between 10.30am to 1pm (Senior class) and now on Tuesday nights from 6.30pm to 7.30pm (Junior class) and 7.40pm to 9.15pm (Senior class).
Adult Classes
The main aspects covered in Senior weekly classes are unarmed combat (including striking, kicking, locks, throws, grappling), defence against weapon attacks and weapons training including 3 and 6 foot staff, short and long swords, knife and a variety of other traditional Japanese weapons used by both the Ninja and Samuari.Our first 2012 beginners course will be run from Tues 10th January so if you are interested in training in the Bujinkan please e-mail me using the "Contact us" tab above, so a class place can be reserved for you in the next group.
Junior Class
Gunn Dojo is currently the only Bujinkan club with a dedicated class for children. Junior classes teach students the basics of self defence. This is a great age to get children started in Martial Arts and can really help young adults build their confidence, learn some discipline and help improve their overall fitness and ability to look after themselves.
Also a new Junior beginners group has started on Tuesday evenings for children aged between (7-14), so if parents are interested in their children starting martial arts please e-mail me using the "Contact us" tab above, so a class place can be reserved for your child.
All classes are run by 9th Dan Shidoshi Hujo Gunn whose aim is to pass on the teachings of authentic Bujinkan and Ninjutsu martial arts as thought by Dr. Massaki Hatsumi, 34th Grandmaster.
